ISA Terminal lets you create trading strategies with an AI assistant through MCP, backtest them and run them as exchange bots. Describe your rules in everyday language; the assistant prepares the strategy and adds it to the terminal.

These guides take you from installation to the first launch of your own strategy.

## Create your own strategy through MCP

Start with your idea: when to buy and sell, how much to trade and how to limit losses. You do not have to write code yourself; a connected AI assistant can do that work.

1. **Describe your idea** and clarify the rules with the assistant.
2. **Get a strategy in the terminal**, with its own settings and description.
3. **Backtest it:** inspect trades, results and drawdown.
4. **Revise and compare versions**, then create a bot on a tested version.

You need the installed terminal and a desktop AI assistant with MCP support. See [Connecting through MCP](/en/isa-terminal/own-strategies/mcp.md).

## Documentation sections

**iSpecAlgo project:** registration, access, subscriptions, Telegram chat and how the project works.

**ISA Terminal:** creating strategies through MCP, historical testing and bot trading, plus installation, exchange connections, charts, indicators, logs and notifications.

Ready-made strategy descriptions are maintained separately. Open **Bots → Strategies** and click **Documentation** on the strategy card.

[**TSLab archive — Russian**](/en/archive/tslab-archive.md)**:** older TSLab and algorithm materials, outside the main ISA Terminal route. This archive is not translated.

Unfamiliar trading terms are explained in the [glossary](/en/isa-terminal/baza-znanii/glossarii.md).

Screenshots and videos retain their original language. Captions and instructions are translated; terminal button names use the English interface. Some older illustrations may differ from the current layout.

## Before trading

Bots do not guarantee profit. Results depend on the market, strategy, settings, deposit and risk management. Begin with demo mode or small sizes, review parameters and monitor terminal logs.
