# Demo keys

Use demo mode to test a connection and bot launches without real money.

## Main rule

For Bybit and BingX demo connections, create separate API keys in the exchange's demo account. Keys must match the selected mode.

Hyperliquid demo runs on a separate test network. Create and approve the API wallet on that network.

## Demo availability

| Exchange    | Spot | Futures           |

| Bybit       | Yes  | Yes               |
| BingX       | No   | Yes               |
| Hyperliquid | No   | Yes, test network |

Hyperliquid test balances and prices may differ from the live market. See [Connecting Hyperliquid](/en/isa-terminal/birzhi-i-podklyucheniya/hyperliquid.md) for API wallet preparation.

If the connection form does not show demo mode, it may be unavailable for that exchange and market.

## Check before saving

* Keys are from the correct exchange.
* Keys match live or demo mode.
* The selected market is correct: Spot or Futures.
* The **Demo mode** switch in ISA Terminal is set correctly.

## Common mistakes

**Demo is enabled, but live keys are entered.** The connection will fail or report an error. Create keys in the demo account and enter them.

**Demo is disabled, but demo keys are entered.** Use keys from your regular account for live trading.

**BingX Spot does not offer demo.** This is expected: demo mode is not supported for BingX Spot.
