# First launch

Follow these steps in order. Each link opens the detailed instructions.

## 1. Account and access

[Register](/en/ispecalgo-project/znakomimsya-s-proektom/registraciya.md), confirm your email and check your [project access](/en/ispecalgo-project/znakomimsya-s-proektom/dostup-k-proektu.md).

## 2. Install the terminal

[Install ISA Terminal](/en/isa-terminal/kak-ustanovit-algoterminal-isa.md) on a Windows computer or Windows VPS and sign in.

## 3. Exchange and API keys

Choose your exchange and market in [Exchanges and connections](/en/isa-terminal/birzhi-i-podklyucheniya.md). Follow the key creation guide for your exchange. To explore without real money, use [demo mode](/en/isa-terminal/birzhi-i-podklyucheniya/demo-klyuchi.md).

## 4. Connection

[Add an exchange connection](/en/isa-terminal/birzhi-i-podklyucheniya/kak-sozdat-podklyuchenie-k-birzhe.md), enable it and wait for your balance to appear.

## 5. Check your settings

You can [create your own strategy with an AI assistant through MCP](/en/isa-terminal/own-strategies.md): describe the rules, save the strategy in the terminal and backtest it.

To choose a ready-made strategy, open **Bots → Strategies** and read the separate documentation on its card.

Before trading, follow the [safe launch checklist](/en/isa-terminal/pervyi-zapusk-ot-nulya-do-bota/bezopasnyi-pervyi-zapusk.md) and check the selected strategy in the [tester](/en/isa-terminal/tester.md).

## 6. Create a bot

Complete the form using [Creating a bot](/en/isa-terminal/kak-sozdat-i-zapustit-torgovogo-bota/kak-sozdat-bota.md). The new bot appears in **My bots** stopped.

## 7. Start and check

[Start the bot](/en/isa-terminal/kak-sozdat-i-zapustit-torgovogo-bota/zapusk-i-ostanovka.md). Check its status, position, orders and logs. A bot may wait for suitable conditions instead of opening a trade immediately.

Your first launch is complete when the bot works without errors and you know how to inspect it and stop trading.
